Cutting sheets
Sheet cutting, or format cutting, involves cutting printed or unprinted sheets from a large master roll. If desired, the master roll is cut into strips and subsequently chopped into sheets further along in the machine. The material is guided through the machine virtually tension-free, allowing stretch-sensitive materials to be processed perfectly. At the terminal, sheets are stacked using compressed air, preventing scratches on the materials.

Cutting techniques that count
We use shear blades (circular blades) to cut the material. This ensures the highest achievable cutting quality with precisely cut edges. A minimum tolerance of +/- 1 millimeter is always taken into account.
Material-specific cutting
Thanks to our extensive knowledge and experience in the field of materials and processing techniques, we often arrive at unique, customer-specific solutions. This is why we approach every project differently.
For example, we can cut highly stretch-sensitive materials in two steps:
- From roll to sheet
- From sheet to sheet
After the first cutting process, the sheets rest for 24 hours so that the stretch-sensitive material can regain its original shape. The sheets are cut to size in the second step. In this way, this material is also cut with millimeter precision.
Types of materials to be cut
We can cut materials such as:
- BOPP, CPP
- Various PET and PE types
- Paper
- Laminates
- Or combinations of these, with or without coatings or printing
