Information Collection for Statistics

Converta uses Salesfeed Software, Google Analytics, and Matomo (formerly Piwik). These measurement tools are used to generate statistics regarding the origin and behavior of our target groups. We do not provide data to third parties.

Salesfeed:

The SalesFeed Software linked to the Converta website processes visitors’ IP addresses. The IP addresses of a portion of the Dutch organizations visiting this Website are linked to a database containing company data. Use of Cookies by SalesFeed Software

By default, 1 cookie is placed by the SalesFeed Software. This cookie is a session cookie, or a first-party cookie. A session cookie is used to aggregate events. This cookie expires after half an hour of inactivity. By default, no third-party cookies are placed on visitors’ devices by SalesFeed software.

Matomo (formerly Piwik)

To track usage statistics on our website, we use the open-source software Matomo. With this, we place two analytical (first-party) cookies:

_pk_id: This generates a unique number to distinguish a visitor from other visitors. Retention period: 14 days after your last visit to our site.

_pk_ref: This records where a visitor arrives from. Retention period: 30 minutes after your last visit to our site.

Using Matomo and these analytical cookies, we collect the following data:

The unique number associated with the cookie _pk_id (see above).

IP address (anonymized).
Visited pages (title and URL) and the date and time they were visited. The URL of the page from which you arrived at our website (Referrer URL) linked to cookie _pk_ref (see above).

Links used on our website that refer to external websites (Outlink).
Downloaded files.
Estimated location: country, region, city (we do not collect the exact geolocation).
Other data: screen resolution, visitor’s local time, website speed, browser language.
Browser user agent: browser used, operating system, device type (computer, smartphone, etc.).

Because the impact of these analytical cookies is limited, you do not need to give consent for them.

Google Analytics

The Converta website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies” (text files placed on your computer) that help to analyze web traffic. The information generated by the cookie about your use of the website (including your IP address) is transmitted to and stored by Google on servers in the United States. Google uses this information to track how you use the website and to compile reports on website activity.
