Converta has been specialising in slitting parent rolls into smaller and/or shorter rolls, as well as in sheet cutting since 2003. Our aim is to create perfect end products. Converta can take care of the entire process for you, including storage and transport. We also have an excellent catalogue of equipment and machinery with a number of slitting and cutting machines in various sizes. Through an extensive partner network we can also laminate, print and hole punch for you. We make every effort to ensure that we provide you with the right solution for you.

The history of Converta
Founder Richard van Gestel about the history of Converta:
“For me, the launch of Converta in 2002 was the logical consequence of a number of different steps. Between 1993 and 2002 I worked as a consultant and gained a lot of experience with the set-up and management of quality systems within various organisations. Many of these clients were in the non-woven, film and paper sectors.
Based on this network, and with the knowledge I had gained, I was able to seize the opportunity to establish Converta in 2002. I started out in Alphen, in Brabant, with 1 employee and an area of approximately 300 m2. Initially we just slit from roll to roll and cut from sheet to sheet. The fact that the place was a sauna in summer and that you had to wear ski gear in winter didn't hold us back.
We relocated to Dongen in late 2004. There, we expanded considerably over the past few years, where both employee numbers and machine capacity are concerned. Currently Converta has a working area of around 2000 m2 with a well-fitted range of machinery and a passionate team as a result. With clients from every corner of industry.”
